Characters

We both have several characters. Zeale and Illeanna are our main characters. We experiment with others for fun and a little variety. Here's our "family album".

The first screenshot of Zeale and Illeanna as they began their great adventure together, in front of their home city of Felwithe. A year, and thirty levels later, Zeale and Illeanna show off their new look (thanks to the "Shadows of Luclin" expansion graphics upgrade) in the city of Shadowhaven on Luclin, Norrath's moon.
An earlier shot of Illeanna shot just as night fell at the Lake of Ill Omen, as Luclin rises in the background. Illeanna is a Mage. One of her main strengths is the ability to summon Elementals and other creatures to do her bidding. She can also cast spells that do devastating amounts of damage.
WOW!! I can't believe her mother let her out of Felwithe looking like that!!!! Illeanna stands at the foot of the falls that hide the entrance to Thurgadin, the city of the dwarves of Velious.
Illeanna with one of her favorite summoned "pets". A Froglock affectionately known as "Froggie". Illeanna was heartbroken when she had to give him up. Magical energy dances around Illeanna as she casts a spell.
Another of Illeanna's coolest pets-a little badger in a gi A younger version of Zeale stands next to a stream near the Lake of Ill Omen.
Zeale in Shadowhaven. He is a Paladin, a holy knight sworn to the service of the Goddess Tunare, the Mother of All. Zeale's assigned mission is to escort Illeanna on her travels, and to protect her.
(...sigh...)...some days go better than others, of course. The sparkling blue lights are a tell-tale sign of the healing powers granted to a Paladin by his Deity.
Thilandril, wood elven Ranger and my first character. He's standing in the great tree city of Kelethin, outside the guild hall of Faydark's Champions. The new and improved, graphically updated Thilandril.
When I created Thil, my main desire was that he be an extraordinary archer. We have created a few other sets of characters to try different things. These are the Darkthils, an evil couple from Paineel, the city of Heretics.
An earlier incarnation of Annolia Darkthils, erudite Shadow Knight. She is a soldier dedicated to the service of Cazic-Thule, God of Fear. Graethe Darkthils is a necromancer. He studies the mystical aspects of death. He is accompanied by his undead servant.
And then we have Donnell and Marnae, The McThils! A pair of Barbarian Beastlords. What can I say, we're dog people at heart. When the Stromm server opened up, we decided to go take a look around and frolic with the newbies. Mrs. Thil is the lovely Charys, a human monk. I'm Ehbonne, a Vah Shir shaman.
Illeanna's favorite alternate character (or "alt") is Mizchiflover, a half elf Druid. She is the only one of the two of us smart enough to start a character that can teleport. Another alt she plays is Rallronae, a human warrior that has been grossly over-equipped for her level by our guild mates. They routinely cross the world to spoil her characters rotten. But I'm not bitter. Not me. No sir.
An early incarnation of Illeanna's first alt. Battieste, a wood elf Ranger, Just like Thilandril. Needless to say, I was pleased as punch... ...until she admitted that she THOUGHT she was starting a Druid to be like my friend Iksnay. [sigh]
Although she's tremendously cool, Battieste rarely gets played anymore. Pushed aside for the promise of teleports and the Spirit of the Wolf spell (a running speed enhancement spell, one of the most popular spells in the game). Poor Battieste. We started a pair of iksars to play with our friend Iksnay. Mrs. Thil plays Vhyper, a Monk, adept in the martial arts. I play Vhenym, a shaman.
Seeing how much fun Illeanna was having, I started a Mage of my own. He is Bakkunum of Erudin. That is the city of Freeport in the background. This is the "new and improved" Bakkunum with his Water Elemental. Note the Prince hairdo, a desperate attempt to hide his enormous forehead and bulbous, melon-like head. Thanks to the EQ staff for the "upgrade".
Mrs. Thil decided to take a walk on the sinister side and started a dark elf Enchanter in the eerily gothic city of Neriak. The latest addition to my stable of characters is Umgruk Hatefiste, a troll Shadowknight. A monstrous wrecking machine that eats what he kills!
